Changing Degrees

It may be possible to change the degree course for which you are registered at the end of the first year. If you are contemplating a change to your degree, you should discuss the matter with your Personal Tutor or the Level One Tutor, Dr. Caroline Pennock and consult our webpage on transferring here.

You should note that it may not always be possible to change courses. Access to other Department's programmes is governed by them; access into Single and Dual history degrees is an admissions issue. If after discussion with your Personal Tutor you wish to transfer into a Single or Dual history degree you should see the Senior Admissions Tutor, Dr Holger Nehring in semester 1 or Dr Charles West in semester 2. Please note that due to unprecedented demand for places on History courses transfers into History degrees will not be possible in 2011-12.
