Current Research Interests

Due to the unculturable performance of prokaryotes, a novel metagenomic system including a mutant of Acinetobacter and two trapping plasmids as a two-hybrid trapping system will be developed to characterise functional genes from uncultured microorganisms. With the system, novel catabolic and auto-inducer-regulated genes and cognate regulators will be identified better.
