DAAD Language Assistant

I joined the Department of Germanic Studies in September 2011 as the DAAD language assistant. Before that, I completed my Masters in Applied Linguistics at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum.

In the Department I teach language classes at level 1, conversation classes at all levels and I am involved in the preparation for the Year Abroad.

Drama is one of my hobbies; I am a member of several English-speaking drama groups back in Germany. I am keen to put on a German/English production in collaboration with staff and students in Germanic Studies. This is scheduled for spring 2012.
