Fäustchen Theatergruppe

Rehearsals for the Germanic Studies play

The Fäustchen Theatergruppe is a group of enthusiastic undergraduate students who gave an excellent performance of Gretchen 89ff. by Lutz Hübner on 3rd and 5th March 2010. The play was directed by Binia Ehrenhart (DAAD Lektor) and Andrew Wormald (postgraduate tutor). Both nights were enjoyed by a large and enthusiastic audience.

Taking a scene from Goethe's classic Faust as the basis for the play, we were introduced to ten different pairs of directors and their actors, each with their own idea as to how Faust should be performed on stage. The performance included a band with three different lead vocalists. For an impression of the evening, check the slide show on the right.
