| Description | We live in an increasingly mediated world, with entertainment, information and even close relationships beamed around the world and into our most intimate living spaces. Do global media deepen our sense of place, or does all this mediation actually disorient people and increase the differences and inequalities between us? This module will provide students with an opportunity to think about and analyse the roles that media play globally in the construction of space, place and identity. |
