Deprivation in European cities
Paul White has recently held a major research grant from the Aga Khan Foundation for comparative research on European approaches to urban social inclusion policies, and for a background study to support possible programme creation by the Foundation in Portugal.
Co-researchers on this project have included Harvey Armstrong (Geography, University of Sheffield) and Lucinda Fonseca, Jorge Malheiros and Luis Moreno of the University of Lisbon.
