University Prize and Faculty Scholarships (Human, Physical and Joint Physical-Human Geography)
University Prize Scholarships and Faculty Scholarships provide fees and an annual maintenance stipend of up to £16,000. For further information and details on how to apply please follow the links to the right. These are highly prestigious awards and, to be competitive, candidates will need to have/be clearly predicted a first-class undergraduate degree and/or a distinction at Masters-level. The deadline for application to these scholarship schemes is 1st February 2013. In order to be considered you must also please be sure to have fully completed your application for admission by 23rd January 2013, particularly ensuring that both references are included in this application by this date. To ensure the most rapid processing of your application, could you also please ask your referees to email their references to: geo-apply@sheffield.ac.uk.

ESRC Studentships
Studentships for Human Geography postgraduate research will be available in the department for 2013/14 entry, as part of the White Rose Social Sciences Doctoral Training Centre (WRSSDTC). The department also has a strong record of success in winning funding for students under the Advanced Quantitative Methods scheme.
