Masters Open Days
We hold postgraduate Open Days throughout the year. Attending an Open Day in the department will give you the opportunity to meet staff, current postgraduate students and explore the department and its facilities. Upcoming Open Days will be advertised on these webpages.
We find that at Postgraduate level it is more appropriate for students to meet one-to-one with course convenors. To arrange a meeting, please contact the relevant course convenor or the Postgraduate Secretary (l.pitts@sheffield.ac.uk).
Development Masters Open Day
On Wednesday 23 May join us to hear more about International Development Masters programmes. Have a tour of our award winning building and meet staff and current MA, MSc and MPH Development students- find out what it's like to be part of our community.
We will be here to answer any questions you might have about the courses, fees and funding. Course Director Chasca Twyman will be giving a talk about the subjects and how the department teach them, and you will also learn about international development work placements and studying abroad. Our students will be able to give you a firsthand account of study within the Department and valuable insights into making the correct choice to study Development with us here in Geography.
During the open days we ask you to arrive by 2pm in the cafe area of the Geography and Town and Regional Planning building. You will be greeted by Chasca Twyman and the day should be completed by 4pm.
Please let us know if you intend to come along by contacting Laura Pitts, our postgraduate secretary, on 0114 2227902 or l.pitts@sheffield.ac.uk.
