MPH in International Development (MPHID).

The MPHID is an innovative course combining development expertise from the Department of Geography and the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR). Combining engagements with contemporary public health and development theory, policy and practice, you develop expertise in the health needs and interventions appropriate to the public health challenges encountered in international development. Emphasis on applied knowledge and skills means graduates are experienced in negotiating the application of theory into practice in challenging environments.

Suited for those seeking to pursue careers in public health, development and beyond, this course develops professional skills and hands-on practice in the global south through a core fieldtrip and placement-based dissertation.
