Locating the Voice: Expressions of Identity in the Middle Ages

Interdisciplinary Medieval Studies Conference hosted by the Humanities Research Institute, University of Sheffield.
"Locating the voice: Expressions of Identity in the Middle Ages" was an interdisciplinary conference, designed to foster and promote cross-disciplinary discussion and exchange in Medieval Studies.
It took place in June 2008 and provided a very successful forum for methodological debate, case-studies and interpretation of expressions of identity in medieval culture.
Our keynote speaker was Professor Jocelyn Wogan-Browne from the University of York.
Selected conference proceedings are now in the process of being published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing.
