Faculty of Social Science Inaugural Lectures
The Faculty of Social Sciences is delighted to announce the first phase of Inaugural Lectures within the Faculty for 2009.
The forthcoming lectures are...
"The winters of our discontent: the political economy of crisis construction in Britain"
by Professor Colin Hay
To be held at 5pm, 25th March 2009, in St. George's Church Lecture Theatre.
"A quiet revolution? Has European Union membership changed British governance?"
by Professor Simon Bulmer
To be held at 5pm, 5th May 2009, in St. George's Church Lecture Theatre.
"Beyond 'active learning': making inquiry the foundation for learning and teaching in the 21st century university"
by Professor Philippa Levy
To be held at 5pm, 20th May 2009, in Mappin Hall.
Lectures will be followed by drinks and nibbles reception in the ICOSS building.
