Sandrine Soubes    

Sandrine Soubes manages the professional development programme for researchers in the Faculty of Science. She has worked as a researcher in the USA and in the UK on diverse topics such the cell cycle, malaria, and early brain development. Her current scholarly work is the area of researchers' professional development. Sandrine has also a strong interest and experience in public engagement and outreach.

Mike Williamson

Mike Williamson

Mike Williamson is a Professor of Biochemistry since 2001, and the academic 'post-doc champion' in MBB. He was a PhD student and research fellow in Cambridge and Zurich, before going into industry for 6 years. His research interests are in protein structure and function, particularly using NMR.

Nina Bausek

Nina Bausek is a senior postdoc in the department of Biomedical Science, funded by CRUK and working on the Jak/Stat pathway using Drosophila as a model organism. Nina is also the current chair of the BMS Postdoc Society, which has been running successfully since 2007.

Anne Santure

Anna Santure

Anna Santure is a postdoctoral research assistant in the department of Animal and Plant Sciences. She studied in New Zealand and spent two and a half years as a post doc at the Institute of Zoology in London before coming to Sheffield in 2009. Anna's current research focuses on microevolution in a wild population of great tits.
