Day one of the 2012 Medical School Research Day was organised by the Medicine, Dental and Health Research Staff Association. The day started in Firth Court, with group tours of the research posters that filled the hall. This was followed by lunch, after which all relocated to the Richard Roberts lecture theatre for 'The Only Way is Ethics', a series of Research Ethics and Integrity themed talks, chaired by Dr. Shelia Francis. The talks were delivered by professionals including a journal editor, NHS Consultant Histopathologist and UoS Director of Veterinary Services and were followed by a panel led 'Question Time' style interactive debate.

Come and attend this informative session, chaired by Dr Sheila Francis, where you will hear excellent talks on some of the most common ethical issues we all face. Have your say in our interactive discussion. No need to register; just turn up on the day, no fake tan required!

As part of the Meeting we are planning on having an interactive element from the audience via handsets! On the panel will be the guest speakers along with a post-doc and a PhD student representative.
