Career Development Fund
Thanks to the popularity of the coffee mornings, and the money raised through company sponsorship, funding is being made available to benefit all early career researchers who should need it.
The Career Development Fund (CDF) is available for all Medicine, Dentistry and Health non-clinical early career researchers. Funding is available for travel, accommodation and registration costs associated with laboratory placements and training courses. Applications may only be partly funded, but exceptional applications may be fully funded. Average funding is £250.
Applications are welcome all year round, with applications being reviewed every month. Unsuccessful applicants are encouraged to re-submit their applications for the next round of review after re-editing the application form.
If you would like any more information about the CDF, or to submit an application form, contact the Research Staff Association at mdh-rsacommittee@lists.shef.ac.uk
