Non-Clinical Studentship Recruitment for Entry 2012-13

As part of the new Sheffield CR-UK/YCR Cancer Research Centre, there are 3 non-clinical PhD studentships will be available for entry Sept 2012 onwards. The studentships will provide:
  • a stipend £19,000
  • tuition fees up to the level of home/EU
  • research and appropriate funds for research consumables

Clinical Studentship Recruitment for Entry 2012-13

As part of the new Sheffield CR-UK/YCR Cancer Research Centre, there are 3 clinical PhD training 3 year research fellowships will be available for entry from January 2012 onwards. The studentships will provide:
  • a salary commensurate with clinical experience on the clinical academic scale
  • tuition fees up to the level of home/EU fees
  • research and appropriate funds for research consumables
Recent graduates or final year undergraduates with or expected to achieve a 1st/2:1 honours degree may apply for up to three projects.

Deadline for applications - 22nd November

Shortlisted students for interview will be informed via email by 23 December 2011. A letter will follow in the post.

Interviews will be held the week commencing 9 January 2012.		 Medical and Dental graduates at specialty registrar level or below may apply for up to three projects.
