What are my career options?
Graduates leaving university with an engineering degree are highly employable. Though most enter the engineering profession, a good engineering degree is welcomed by other professions who are looking for numeracy and problem solving skills. Many graduates of the University of Sheffield work for well known engineering companies including Rolls Royce, Boeing, NASA, Google, McClaren and Marconi.
Some graduates also move into non-engineering related sectors for example, banking, accountancy, law and management consultancy.
