Graduation January 2012 - Tickets

Guaranteed Tickets

graduands

2 guest tickets are guaranteed for each graduand attending, if requested at the time of registration. This is in addition to your own ticket of admission as a graduand.

These 2 guest tickets are only guaranteed if you request them when you register for graduation and your registration is received by the deadline of 28 October 2011.

Additional Tickets

A small number of extra guest tickets may be available, however, extra tickets CANNOT be guaranteed and any advance arrangements regarding your party's travel or accommodation are made at your own risk.

If additional tickets are available for your ceremony, you will be notified via an email sent to the address you provided when registering for graduation during the week commencing 14 November. This does NOT mean that the email will be sent at 9.00am on 14 November but it will be sent AT SOME POINT during that week. Please do not contact the Events Team prior to this time as we will not have the information available.

Mailing or Collection of Tickets

Tickets for you and your guests will be mailed approximately 1 week before your ceremony to the address you provided when registering for graduation. Due to the timescales involved, we will not post tickets to addresses outside the UK as they will not reach you in time. We have provided an option on the registration form for tickets to be collected on the day and you should use this option if you will not be resident in the UK during early January.

When you register for graduation there is an option to collect your tickets instead of having them sent through the mail. If you have selected this option, your tickets will be available at the Enquiries Desk in the Octagon Centre from 8.15am on the morning of your ceremony.

Special Seating Arrangements

Please inform us of any specific access requirements you or your guests may have, or special needs/assistance that you or your guests may require, e.g. printed material, hearing loop etc. by completing the relevant section of the form when you register for graduation. Please note, however, that once tickets have been allocated, we may not be able to accommodate special arrangements.

If you require the loan of a wheelchair for the day, your local British Red Cross Association should be able to assist. Visit their website at: www.redcross.org.uk

Children

Please note that we do not recommend attendance at the ceremony for children under 5 years old. Children under 3 years old do not require a ticket and can sit on the knee of a guest. However, children over the age of 3 must have their own ticket and occupy their own seat. All tickets are numbered and there will be strictly no admission to the hall without a ticket.
