Attendance
Invitations lists for all candidates, except Collaborative Studies, are drawn up using reports from information contained on the student record. It is vital, therefore, that students monitor the accuracy of their own record in order to avoid errors and missed attendance at ceremonies.
Summer Graduation
Undergraduate students (with the exception of undergraduate Collaborative and Nursing & Midwifery candidates) will be notified by email once on-line registration is open and this is normally at the end of February. All necessary information, including the registration forms and details on robe hire, can be found via the Events Team home page.
Invitations to Research, Collaborative Studies and Nursing & Midwifery candidates are issued by post in April. All necessary information and the reply form are enclosed in the invitation pack. Invitations are mailed to eligible candidates home address as given on their student record. If candidates prefer the pack to be mailed to a different address, this should be recorded on the student record as a correspondence address. The Events Team cannot be held responsible if candidates fail to keep their address up-to-date and, as a consequence, do not receive their invitation.
Winter Graduation
Invitations to Postgraduate Taught students (with the exception of postgraduate taught Collaborative and Nursing & Midwifery candidates) are issued via email at the end of September and registration for the ceremony is on-line. All necessary information and the on-line registration forms are reached via the Events Team home page and web links are provided to arrange robe hire, catering etc.
