I joined the School of English in September 2006 from Boston University, where I held appointments in the University Professors Program and the Department of English. Before that I was at University College London, where I was Professor of English and Graduate Tutor.
As Graduate Director for the School of English (Literature Programme) I am responsible for admissions to the MPhil/PhD programme, and for oversight of graduate students´ progress. I welcome inquiries about doing research at Sheffield.
