International Summer School 2013 Update:

The final deadline for applications to our 10 week pre-sessional course has now passed. We are no longer accepting new applications to our 10 week pre-sessional course. Applications received before the deadline will still be processed. We are however still accepting applications to our 6 and 4 week pre-sessional courses and our STUDY English PLUS Options course.

Applicants who were unable to apply before the deadline can search for alternative English language courses with English UK North.

The English Language Teaching Centre (ELTC) offers a wide range of English language courses and services for University students and departments, as well as the public.

Whether you are interested in studying at the University, are a student already or are simply looking to improve your English, please go to the links on the left to discover more.

The ELTC is housed in a purpose-built facility which includes modern classrooms and well-equipped computer suites, as well as advanced audio-visual equipment and learning resources.

Our staff have experience of teaching international students in a wide range of locations and situations, both in the UK and overseas.
