International Summer School 2013 Update
The final deadline for applications to our 10 week pre-sessional course has been set as 5pm on Friday May 17th. Applications received after this deadline will not be accepted. Places on our 6 and 4 week pre-sessional courses will still be available after May 17th.
Applicants unable to apply before the deadline can search for alternative English language courses with English UK North.
Summer School
Every year we welcome students to the International Summer School from all around the world. Some come for a holiday course, others are about to begin their studies at the University of Sheffield.
A range of accommodation options are available and there is a full and varied social programme for all students.
Summer School Video
Pre-sessional Academic English
This course is for students who wish to improve their English before starting a course at the University of Sheffield or any other UK university. Students may choose to study for 16 weeks, 10 weeks, 6 weeks or 4 weeks.

STUDY English PLUS Options
This course is most suitable for students who wish to visit Sheffield and study English for professional, academic or personal development for a short period in a university environment. The shortest period of study is 3 weeks, the longest is 10 weeks. Local visits and activities are included.
