Becoming a FIB User

The facility is available without charge to university researchers from beyond the University of Sheffield for work that is non-proprietary and that will be published in the open literature. The facility is also available to industrial researchers at a charge appropriate to the extent of usage.

Researchers should be experienced microscopists who will, after some training, be able to operate the FIB facility by themselves. Please contact Tony Cullis in the first instance for further details. Then a short proposal should be submitted to Hilary Levesley via e-mail.
