Sample Preparation

The Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering houses a 'sample prep' lab. Along with carbide paper lapping and diamond compound polishing machines, diamond wheel and wire saws, light microscopes, fume cupboards and ovens, the lab also contains four ion beam millers and a dimpler.
