Manzur graduated in Economics from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2003 and then completed his MSc in Financial and Business Economics with distinction from University of Essex, UK in 2005. He was working as a lecturer in the School of Business, Independent University, Bangladesh before joining University of Sheffield as a research student in December 2009.
