School Research Vision:
Research is one of our key activities; it underpins our teaching, strengthens our knowledge base and informs the advancement of clinical excellence. We believe that progress in scientific knowledge that can then be translated to improve oral health relies on an integrated, multi-disciplinary approach.

Professor of Dental Public Health. Since then we have built our team to comprise six academic staff and have 14 PhD students. His research interests fall into two areas, the measurement of quality of life and the evaluation of health care.
