Postgraduate opportunities
In this Department we address both the scientific and engineering aspects of Computer Science in its teaching and research of the subject. This is reflected in our emphasis on the theoretical principles of Computer Science and their application to a wide range of systems.
In our teaching, we ensure that the theoretical principles underlying a problem are understood, along with knowing how to engineer a solution.
Masters courses

PhD study
The Department seeks to recruit postgraduate students for all its research groups. Successful applicants will work towards an MPhil a or PhD. Most research students start in September or October, but entry is possible at any time.
