Two first year students secure £100,000 from Ignite 100 to develop social media business
27th July 2012

Two of our first year students, Stephan Broek and Nabil Freeman, have secured a place on the prestigious Ignite 100 programme and a £100,000 investment in their social media business. Along with a student from the Management School and another from the Department of Politics, Stephan and Nabil have developed MatchChat, a social media site for discussing live sport, in their spare time. As well as the investment from Ignite 100, they will benefit from the advice of accomplished mentors, including experienced entrepreneurs and venture capitalists. Congratulations!
