Priya Dey shortlisted for ICT Pioneers competition

Priya Dey, PhD student in the Computer Graphics and Virtual Reality Research Group, has been shortlisted for the Transforming Society prize in the 2011 UK ICT Pioneers Competition, to be held at Church House Conference Centre, Westminster, Wednesday 23 March 2011.

Priya will present her work on visual speech in technology-enhanced learning to a panel of academic and industry experts (Chaired by Dave Watson, EPSRC Council and IBM). Priya is currently in the third year of her PhD studies, under the supervision of Dr Steve Maddock (Department of Computer Science) and Prof. Rod Nicolson (Department of Psychology).
