The Department of Computer Science is delighted with the results of this year's National Student Survey, in which we have scored a maximum 100% for student satisfaction - better than any other computer science department in the UK.

 The Times Higher Education Supplement has confirmed that "computer scientists at the University of Sheffield ... were all unanimously satisfied with their course". Quoting John Derrick, head of department, the article attributed the popularity of the course to its combination of theory and practical application, which gives graduates a good chance of getting a job.
