Jones Agyemang wins GE Foundation scholarship

Jones Agyemang, a first year student studying the MComp Computer Science with Mathematics at the University of Sheffield, has been awarded a prestigious GE Foundation Scholarship.

On behalf of the GE Foundation, the Institute of International Education conducts a competition at six selected universities in the United Kingdom to identify accomplished first-year students in the fields of economics, management, engineering and technology, demonstrating both academic excellence and need. More than a scholarship, the programme is designed to assist these students develop their human capacity and leadership potential.

Jones receives a scholarship of £6,000, the opportunity to participate in a work shadowing day, community service, and a Leadership Development Programme in London.
