Tristan Ibrahim

Before joining the Catchment Science Centre Tristan studied for his BSc in Earth Sciences and his MSc in Geoarchaeology at Paris 6 University. His thesis examined the use of trace elements signature as palaeodietary markers in human archaeological bones. Upon graduating Tristan continued this work for one year, in collaboration with Paris 6 University and the IRD.
Upon completion of this work Tristan worked as a scientific translator. At the same time, he participated to several archaeological missions, especially in the middle-east, and started to learn Arabic in Lebanese and Syrian universities. In 2005-2006 Tristan studied for his postgraduate (Master´s advanced) in Hydrogeology at Neuchâtel University (Switzerland). His thesis focused on the use of Rare Earth Elements to trace karstic groundwaters.
