Departmental Responsibilities:

Clinical Tutor:

• Line management of Trainee Clinical Psychologists
• Lead role in developing Public and Patient Involvement activities on the DClin Psy training course
• Co-Chair of the Diversity Discussion Group

Clinical Role:

• 0.1 sessions per week in private practice
• Staff support
• Consultancy
• Supervision and training to trainee Clinical Psychologists and MDT members

Interests:

• Post Traumatic Stress Disorder in working age and older adult populations
• Existential, psychodynamic and brief person-centered therapies
• Organisational and team dynamics

Research Interests

• Trauma in care staff
• Care staff attitudes/beliefs about research with terminally ill people
• Barriers to research in hospice settings
