Permits
Car parks at student residences are managed by the permit system. This ensures that car parks are only used by those who live on, work at and visit the site. Permits therefore need to be displayed by all users of the site.

Permit types
There are two types of permit at student residences: Category R (Staff) and Category R (Student). There is no charge for either but the University reserves the right to impose a charge at any point during the year should this prove necessary. Due notice of any such change would be given to permit holders. If you are applying for a permit at Broad Lane Court, please note that there are only a few spaces available and that these will be distributed on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no limit on issuing permits to students living at the University residences at Endcliffe and Ranmoor sites at the moment, but this is currently under review. |
Redevelopment
Please bear in mind that the University is currently embarking upon a major redevelopment of its Endcliffe and Ranmoor sites. Over the next three years there will be a phased programme of property disposals, refurbishment and development. Room and Parking Services are working closely with the Student Residences Project to ensure disruption to car parking is minimised. There will inevitably be some effect on the car parks at the site – please bear with us while this work takes place. |
