Student Attendance Monitoring

Overview

To implement a centralized automated system (linked to the CIS student record) for use by departments offering courses of study, to record and report on student attendance, in order to pick up on problems and to meet new statutory requirements.

Timescales

The system was developed and rolled out for full use across the University for September 2010 (for 2010-11 academic session) to facilitate Student Attendance Monitoring. 

The SAM guidance has been reviewed during 2010-11 academic year and new guidance will be available for 2012-13.
