Getting myCalendar onto your PDA
There is a piece of software called Oracle Calendar Sync that you can install on your PC or MAC. This will allow you to import the data from myCalendar into the Palm´s built-in calendar. This is called Synchronizing your PDA.
Although many handheld computers may be synchronized with myCalendar (and software is available to do this), CiCS can only provide direct support for the Oracle Calendar Sync software used by Palm (and clone eg Handspring) PDAs when connecting to Windows or Macintosh operating systems.
What you'll need
- your PDA and its cradle
- an unmanaged PC (Windows or Macintosh)
- the myCalendar desktop client installed on the PC (see the download boxes)
How it works
You will need to install and configure Oracle Calendar Sync on your PC or MAC, connect your PDA to the PC or MAC using its cradle, and press the HotSync button on the PDA. This will transfer the software and synchronize with myCalendar.
Follow the relevant links (PC or MAC) at the top of the page for full instructions on how to do this.
Note: It is not currently possible to synchronize PDAs and Handheld computers with myCalendar using the Managed Desktop Service.
