Macintosh Mailing List

The Macintosh Mailing list is a forum for Macintosh users at the University of Sheffield, and all Mac users are encouraged to join. It is a useful channel for exchanging ideas and information. Note that it is a closed list so you can only send an email to it using your university email address.

Sending Messages

To send a message to the Mac mailing list, compose the message and send to macintosh@lists.shef.ac.uk

Joining and Leaving

To subscribe to and unsubscribe from the list, log on to myLists via Muse, under Staff Applications. The lists you are subscribed to appear on the left.

To subscribe to the Mac list, type 'macintosh' into the search filed then click the Search Lists button. Click the list in the search results then on the next screen click Subscribe.
To unsubscribe from the Mac list, click the list in the left-hand column, then on the next screen, click Unsubscribe.

You can also unsubscribe by emailing sympa@lists.shef.ac.uk with the words 'unsubscribe macintosh' in the subject.
