Server specification and configuration

This information should help you to decide whether cPanel meets the technical requirements of any specific software you may wish to install.

Specification

• Operating System: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
• Apache: 2.0
• PHP: 5.2.10 (with Zend Optimizer)
• Perl: 5.8.8 (with Suexec)
• MySQL: 5.0.81-community
• Firewall: most outbound and inbound connections are blocked
• Shell access (SSH): shell access is not available
• HTTPS access: this is available for standard cPanel web addresses
