CIS Forms Toolbar
The toolbar at the top of the screen consists of two rows: an upper row showing the labels of various menus and a lower row showing icons for the most commonly used options from those menus.
Clicking any menu label will display the menu, from which an option can be selected by clicking on it. Hovering over an icon with the cursor will display a tooltip showing which option the icon represents. The available options and some of their descriptions vary according to where the cursor is positioned in the form. A greyed-out icon indicates an option that is not available in the current context.
The first icon on the left is the Search icon and this is a special one - its appearance switches between the two versions shown below depending on whether clicking it will perform a search or allow you to enter search criteria.
Enter criteria for a search
Perform a search
When you are entering criteria for a search, the magnifying glass icon has a small green disc with a triangle superimposed. Clicking it will perform the search using the criteria you have already entered. When search results are being displayed or you are adding or amending data, the plain magnifying glass is shown. Clicking it now will allow you to enter criteria for another search.
Listed below are the options on each menu and their corresponding icons (if any).
