To Order
Send an Internal Trade Order to vendor 9022, or take it to the Computing Centre Reception, Hounsfield Road.
- Items other than Microsoft Campus Agreement software should be placed on a separate order.
- Commonly requested software may be purchased over the counter, but other packages will need to be copied, and collected later.
- Please include contact details, so we may inform you when goods are ready for collection.

Microsoft staff Work @ Home scheme
Eligible University staff doing University work at home may buy a Microsoft Work @ Home copy of most Campus Agreement software items from CiCS. From May 2007, the standard Campus Agreement discs bearing the University crest may only be sold to departments for use on campus, and must not be taken elsewhere. Office
Follow the link to find the contents of Office versions. Existing Office users may download Service Packs freely from the Microsoft Download Centre.
Visual Studio
Visual Studio is Microsoft's Program Development system. For further information follow the link.
Server Client Access Licences (CALs)
All Servers and most Client Access Licences (CALs) are licensed under the Microsoft Education Select Agreement. (However CALs for all Windows servers are free under the Campus Agreement.) You will need one CAL per user, but as the licensing situation is complex, please inform Peter Armstrong (p.armstrong@sheffield.ac.uk) of intended use of these products and their licences.
