Ensure your computer is connected to the Internet
Obtain the current licence key for each item via a link on the CiCS website: http://www.shef.ac.uk/cics/buying
To download both items, click on the following link: http://www.fineprint.com/ and follow the on-screen instructions
From Downloads, double-click fineprint.exe to open it
Click OK and then Setup
Accept licence terms
Click Yes to set FinePrint as your default printer
From Downloads, double-click on pdfpro.exe to open it
Click OK and then Setup
Accept licence terms

Open the document to be printed
Open the 'Print' screen (i.e. prepare to print in the normal way)
With FinePrint as default printer, click OK
From the FinePrint screen, select as printer (top left) and your required layout options
Click the Print and Close icon
Check details and click Print
The first time you run FinePrint, you will be guided through a series of printer tests
To create the document in pdf format, click on the pdf button at the top of the FinePrint screen, and select required options
