Biography
joined the University as a systems analyst in January 1995 and since 1998 have worked as a senior analyst in what is now Corporate Information and Computing Services. In 2000 I took special leave to work in a similar position at Callista Software Services, a leading Australian software house in the HE sector based in Geelong, Victoria. More recently I have developed a special interest in project and programme management, and Benefits Realisation Management in particular.
Prior to joining the university I worked for ten years as a software developer in both the public and private sectors, taking career breaks to explore South America and southern asia. The latter trip found myself ending up in Sydney, Australia where I worked as a developer from 1988 to 1990 for the news agency AAP-Reuters and gained an Australian private pilots licence.
