Responsibilities

• Management of the University storage systems
• Management of the backup systems for the SAN, Windows, Novell and UNIX servers
• Management of the VMware server virtualisation environment
  

Biography

I started at the University in Feb 2009, following a stint as a civil servant at Cefas, the government's fish science laboratory in Lowestoft, Suffolk.

Outside of work I enjoy photography and travel, and have been lucky enough to have had two separate year long holidays in the 12 or so years since I left University.
