Responsibilities

Set up CIS/CIES users and deal with related queries from customers. Recommend alternative courses of action if unable to assist
Oversee the security/accessibility of data in area of responsibility
Docent- monitoring this and correcting errors if the overnight transfer of data has failed
Monitor backup systems
Cognos – make changes to the live and demo systems

Biography

I've been at the University for over 20 years starting off as a Data Processing Assistant in the Data Processing Unit, which became Mac Services, and was then incorporated into CiCS. I now only work three days a week - Tuesday to Thursday.
