Responsibilities
- Helpdesk analyst providing IT support and advice to all members of the University
- Face to face support through the drop-in service
- Provide support for software, hardware and systems problems on PCs and Macintosh computers
- Install and update operating systems
- Fix and clear problems caused by viruses
- Provide advice on keeping equipment safe and virus free
- Configure network services software and other application software
- Administrating and developing support solutions for CiCS and other members of the University.
Biography
I joined CiCS in April 2009 after working in many different roles for 10 years with Siemens IT Solutions and Services in Lincoln.
