Responsibilities

• Monitor the Voice and Data network to ensure availability of Services
• Liaise with customers, contractors, suppliers and other CiCS staff for installations, faults and day-to-day moves and changes
• Manage wireless network requests. Including liasing with other departments and wiring contractors as the point of contact, carrying out surveys, installations, troubleshooting and producing/updating documentation on a day-to-day basis

Biography

Since joining the University in September 2002, I have had involvment in many major upgrades and installations, as well as contributing to the day to day running and maintenance of the University network.
