Responsibilities
- Helpdesk analyst providing IT support and advice to all members of the University
- Face to face support through the drop-in service
- Provide support for software, hardware and systems problems on PCs and Macintosh computers; install and update operating systems; fix and clear problems caused by viruses; provide advice on keeping equipment safe and virus free; configure network services software and other application software
Biography
I joined the University in September 2008 as an IT Support Technician with CiCS Department. Previously I worked in IT roles in London for 8 years, for a well known advertising agency and later a film distribution company, before re-locating to the Sheffield area in 2007.
