Biography

I came to Sheffield University as a student in 1999 to do a Masters in Computer Science. After graduating in 2003 I worked with a company developing an online health and fitness management system, working closely with various sports scientists, nutritionists and researchers from Sheffield Hallam's sports science department.

I have had a keen interest in computing from an early age, having started programming on the Commodore 64 in 1990 and quickly moving on to C/C++ then x86 Assembly. I joined the University in 2008 as a Java developer working on web applications for the university.
