Biography
I joined the university in November 2008 as an IT Centre Technician. I then went on secondment, working for CILASS (Centre for Inquiry-based Learning in the Arts and Social Science) as an IT/AV Advisor. From July 2010 I came back to working solely for CiCS as an Teaching Technology Supervisor.
Prior to working at the University of Sheffield I worked for Laban (Europe´s leading dance conservatoire) in London as IT/AV Advisor. My role was quite similar in providing technical support to staff and students, training in the use of innovative technologies, and managing the equipment loans and returns. Before working at Laban, I graduated as a student with a BA (Hons.) in Dance Theatre. Since 2004 I have also been working as a freelance filmmaker and lighting designer, working with a number of artists, and presenting my work both nationally and internationally.
