Responsibilities

• I work on the Information Desk of the Information Commons, handling both Library enquiries and IT-related enquiries
• I also work on the front desks of the CiCS IT Centres
• I design and produce the posters and flyers and other documentation for the Student Computer Rooms and IT Centres
• I produce material for the plasma screens in the Information Commons and am involved in the management of the software that runs them
• I write some of the web pages for the CiCS website.

Biography

I´ve worked for the University since 2003. I started off in the Main Library, where I worked on the counter for 7 years. I then moved across to CiCS and worked in the IT Centres for the next 7 years. April 2007 saw me come full circle as I started work in the brand new Information Commons. A venture conceived and jointly operated by CiCS and the Library.
