Travelling to The Edge
By bus (with `First´ buses)
The 40 bus service departs from the Sheffield Interchange (stand D6) on Pond Street (opposite the railway station); it runs every 10 minutes during daytime weekdays and Saturdays, and every 20 minutes until midnight in the evening and Sundays. Ask for the Endcliffe Crescent stop. PLEASE NOTE THAT AS MONDAY 31ST AUGUST IS A UK PUBLIC HOLIDAY, A SUNDAY SERVICE WILL BE IN OPERATION ON THIS DAY.

There will also be numerous independent, black cab companies that you can use from the railway station, and other parts of the City.
Parking
All delegates who requested a parking space will receive an electronic parking permit with this letter. These are for use in ANY Category `R´ car park at The Edge venue and surrounding areas. The parking permit should be clearly displayed on the dashboard of the car. If you do not have a permit and require one, please request this at the time of arrival. If permits are not displayed clearly on the dashboard of the car, delegates may receive a fine.
Check-in (University Accommodation)
Before 11pm
Guests can check into their bedrooms from 2pm at The Edge Reception on Monday 31st August (and then 24 hours per day through to Thursday 3rd September). Check out is before 10am on the day of departure. Luggage storage will be available if required.
After 11pm
Delegates who arrive in the late evening should be advised that the main doors are usually locked after 11pm. There will be a Porter on duty, however his/her duties could potentially take them away from the main desk. Guests who arrive at this time should call the Porter at the Monitoring Station on +44 (0) 114 222 4075.
Conference Registration
Registration will take place in The Edge Reception area.
Monday 31st August
Delegates will be able to register for the conference between 3.00-6.00pm only on Monday 31st August.
Tuesday 1st September
Delegates can register from 8.00am on this day.
You will receive a delegate pack and name badge when you register for the conference. The pack will include further details on the conference and evening activities.
Dress Code
Smart casual, throughout the conference.
